Mixed Dryer

Principle of operation

Compressed air dryers are designed for continuous separation of water vapour from the compressed air, thus reducing the dew point. Drying consists of two stages. A refrigeration dryer which removes most of the water and reduces the dew point to a temperature of +3°C. A further reduction of the dew point (to a dew point of -70°C) is carried out by an adsorption dryer. The operation of the dryer is simpler compared to the heat regenerated adsorption dryer, while the average compressed air losses are decreased by up to 30%.
