Introduction

The Air Coolers or DryCoolers cool the water in a closed cooling circuit by means of ambient air forced through fans. They are made of aluminium fins and copper tubes mechanically expanded to obtain a perfect contact with the fins. The outlet temperature of the treated water will depend directly on the ambient temperature, but normally an outlet temperature of 10ºC higher than the ambient air temperature is obtained, and it can reach up to 5ºC.

Application

Air coolers can be used for many different cooling processes, for example for cooling compressors, motors, welding machines or room air conditioning.

Due to their low maintenance requirements and low water consumption, they are a good alternative to cooling towers. They can be equipped with a control system that regulates the air flow of the fans according to the outlet temperature of the water, generating savings in electricity consumption.
