Principle of Operation<\/strong><\/h3>\n

AA series coolers are heat exchangers that subtract heat from the fluid to be treated by transferring it to the surrounding atmospheric air. The heat subtracted has a sensible component (temperature drop) and, in general, also a latent heat component (condensation of water vapour).<\/p>\n

The temperature of the fluid to be treated at the outlet of the cooler should generally be as low as possible, depending on the ambient temperature available. The unit has been designed for the working conditions indicated on the first page of this instruction manual.<\/p>\n

The ambient air pulsed by the ventilation unit, and with a temperature lower than that of the fluid to be treated\/cooled, produces a drop in temperature of the latter when passing through the coil of the cooler, as well as a possible condensation of the excess humidity of the fluid at the new temperature.<\/p>\n

The condensate collected in the separator (if provided) must be discharged at a frequency to be determined for each particular installation. The water level should never exceed the weld line at the bottom of the vessel. It is best to incorporate an automatic purge system, but even in this case it is advisable to purge manually at regular intervals to remove any sludge that may form.<\/p>\n
